Are you ready for the summer? I am not! But I just started getting ready with my summer reading log. I just visited the library and got back to you with the first draft in 4th grade. Here is what I have from today:
Graphic novels:

Realistic Fiction:
- Masterminds. By Gordon Korman (Author).
- Where the Mountain Meets the Moon. By Grace Lin (Author).
- Sideways Stories From Wayside School. By Louis Sachar (Author). — I already read this one, but something well-known is not that bad.
Fantasy:
- Warriors, Into the Wild. By Erin Hunter (Author).
Historical Fiction:
- Al Capone Does My Shorts. By Gennifer Choldenko (Author).

This year is going to be my first year at the Harker School. The Summer Reading recommendation is to have at least three books by choice for the Language arts class and bring them on the first day of school. All other books are considered reading for pleasure. If you read at least five books, you can get a free book from the librarian. I love it and cannot wait to get my new book.
