Welcome to Dara’s Reading Blog – Book Lists for Elementary School – the excellent blog for reading. This is my fantastic blog for summer reading in First Grade in Monticello Academy, which makes it Elementary School. My name is Dara, and I was seven years old when I started this blog! I like to read a lot! I will provide you with all my book lists and recommendations.
But first of all, have you read my brother’s blog? Kristiyan – here it is, the fantastic blog of the best brother ever. He likes to read a lot, too. He was 14 and attending High School – The Harker Upper School. I am proud of him.
And second, have you read my Bulgarian list of books? Here is a list of books I read in Bulgarian for Elementary School. I read in English and Bulgarian (Bulgarian is harder, believe me).
I started to read in English fluently when I was 4 and 1/2 years old. Nobody taught me how to do it. One day, my parents bought me a new book, and they were surprised that I started reading it. The name of the book was The Spirits of Nature. Ever since I have kept evaluating my reading skills. My favorite book was Charlotte’s Web by E. B. White, but don’t judge me; I was only seven years old. I have read only a few of the world’s classics.
In Bulgarian, I started reading even before that; probably, this is how I started reading in English, which none of my teachers can explain. In Bulgarian, my favorite book is Pippi Longstocking, which is not by a Bulgarian author. I love reading all of Astrid Lindgren’s books.
And last but not least – here is the starting list for my summer reading. I hope you enjoy it and have fun while reading.
Dara out.
