Do you want to know more about Charlotte’s Web, written by E. B. White? It was the first book I read with my reading group in second grade.
Let me start this: I read Charlotte’s Web for the first time during the summer after I graduated from first grade. I knew we would spend time on this book during the next school year, so I wanted to prepare myself. The first time I read the sad part, my heart felt upset and bad.
For a second time, I read Charlotte’s Web while discussing it in school. I was already used to the story. This second time, I focused on understanding the beauty of the language and the need for friendship. I would have struggled to make friends even more if this book had not been present.
However, I have already read the book twice and would read it even more. This is one of my favorite books.
